Reported by aeroroutes, Air China will operate flights between Beijing-Capital and Havana, Cuba via Madrid from May 17. The Beijing-based airline will operate two weekly flights on the route using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

The twice-weekly flights will operate every Tuesday/Friday before being switched to Tuesday/Saturday from Jun 15. The flights are scheduled and available for booking until September 28.
With the Beijing-Madrid-Havana route, the Beijing-based carrier will make its return to the Cuban capital. Air China last operated flights to Havana via Montreal until 2020.
The flights to Havana will be the second route to be launched by Air China to Central/South America within the year. The airline will also launch twice-weekly flights between Beijing-Capital and Sao Paulo-Guarulhos via Madrid from April 28.
